Crane: Two Link-Belt 8690’s (Setting Railroad Beds- Rensselaer, NY)

Setting our two 90 ton cranes up right inside the railroad tracks. The work was coordinated to be done in the middle of the night because the line was active during the day. This type of planning and coordination is paramount in getting a job done safely and in a timely manner for the customer. This type of work in common place for us at Mullins.
This work is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

We used flood lights to light the way through the night. The work hours were from about 9PM til about 3 AM.
The conditions were very cold and snow. Tough elements but the job must get done.
